Video Poker
Game Object
Video Poker is a five-card poker game. The aim of the game is to obtain
a hand that contains a winning combination. The better the card combination
the higher the payout. Every hand is dealt in two parts. One the initial
hand is dealt you can choose which cards to hold and replace the others.
The final card combination for a game is set once the second hand has
been dealt, replacing those cards that you have chosen not to hold.
How to Play
•
The game has a fixed coin size of 20p.
•
Select how may coins (one to five) you would like to bet per game. It
is important to note that to play for the progressive jackpot you need
to bet with THREE coins.
•
Clicking the Bet One button will increment the number of coins staked
per spin by one per click. Clicking bet one when on five coins will take
the number of coins bet back to one.
•
Click deal to deal a hand of cards
•
Alternatively, click the Bet Max button to bet with five coins and deal
a hand of cards
•
Stake money will be deducted from your account.
•
Choose which cards you wish to keep by pressing the Hold button underneath
the card, or by clicking on the card itself.
•
Click Deal to replace the cards that you did not choose to hold.
•
Turbo On / Off button toggle the turbo (fast) draw feature
•
Winning payouts will be credited to your account. It is important to
note that the numerical figures in the payout table MULTIPLY the COIN
SIZE you have chosen and are NOT the PAYOUT TOTALS.
Card Combinations
Jacks or Better
•
A pair of Jacks or of higher cards. Thus two 6-s do not qualify as a
winning combination, while two Jacks do.
Three of a kind
•
Three cards of the same kind, e.g. three 7-s.
Two Pair
•
Two pairs, e.g. two Queens and two 5-s.
Straight
•
Five consecutive cards, e.g. 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack and Queen
Flush
•
Five cards of the same suit, e.g. 7 of Hearts, 9 of Hearts, 10 of Hearts,
Queen of Hearts and Ace of Hearts.
Full House
•
A five cards hand consisting of a Pair and Three of a Kind, e. g. two
10-s and three 7-s.
Four of a Kind
•
Four cards of the same kind, e.g. four Kings.
Straight Flush
•
Five consecutive cards of the same suit, e.g. 4 of Spades, 5 of Spades,
6 of Spades, 7 of Spades and 8 of Spades.
Royal Flush
•
Five consecutive cards of the same suit, from 10 to Ace, e.g. 10 of Diamonds,
Jack of Diamonds, Queen of Diamonds, King of Diamonds and Ace of Diamonds.
